Regional residence is the result of regional economy,culture and climate,and the architectural experience contained in regional residence needs to be explored and utilized.In the context of global energy shortage and high building energy consumption,quantitative research on regional residential climate adaptation experience is of positive significance for guiding green building construction.Tabular houses in northern Zhejiang Province are named for their narrow,long form.The layout of the group arrangement and the spatial structure connected by internal patios and long corridors provide a characteristic regional architectural form for research.Based on the field measurement of single cell tabular house,this paper studies the influence of spatial form and indoor structure on natural ventilation through numerical simulation.The effect of air flow in different ways is analyzed from two aspects of wind pressure and thermal pressure.The laws of temperature,humidity and wind speed in winter and summer are studied by thermal measurement.It is found that the tabular house is hot and humid in summer as well as cold and humid in winter.Ventilation and insulation should be done in summer and winter respectively.In summer,the temperature indoor and in the patio increased with height,but it is opposite in winter.The rear patio is slightly cooler than the front patio.The wind speed is the highest in the corridor,and the wind speed in the patio is weak.The wind speed of the upper part of the patio is greater than that of the lower part.The pressure difference between the windward and the leeward side and the negative pres-sure above the patio have a positive effect on the wind pressure ventilation.The effects of wind direction,the presence of patio and the opening and closing of indoor vents on ventilation are studied.SE wind is better than WNW wind on ventilation and vertical wind is better than lateral wind.Poor ventilation in the middle and back rooms of the second floor is found.The existence of patio is beneficial to enhance the ventilation of the second floor room,and the rear patio is more beneficial to improve the overall ventilation than the front patio.The opening mode of vents will affect the indoor air distribution.The power of the thermal pressure ventilation is the temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the patio and the indoor rooms.The influence of the presence of patios and roof temperature on ventilation are studied.The funnel draft of the patio is of positive significance for indoor ventilation.In the case of a single patio,the indoor wind speed of the patio and rooms is greater than that of the double patio,and the airflow velocity of the upper part of the patio is greater than that of the bottom.The increase of roof temperature can drive the increase of wind speed in the patio and the room.When the temperature increases to a certain value,the increase of wind speed will weaken.
