Research On Impact Of Risk Management Ability Of Project On Contextual Performance

. Project Management, as the new mode of enterprise management, has been rapidly developed in all category of global economy. Groups of traditional Chinese enterprises are transitioning into project driving organizations. However, those entities’ performance can’t be insured due to a series of internal or external issues of risk management coming with high speed transitioning. Thus, in order to improve and enhance high performance of project management, how to improve capability of risk management is bringing more and more attentions.This study first reviews the definition of capability of project risk management and relative theories. During research, I summarize the frame of the way of categorizing project risk and project risk management. Meanwhile, we’ve found that studies about capability of project risk management is way behind enough, and most are focusing on organization contracture and enterprise culture. Based on this, through this study, from the origin of risk, I separate capability of project risk management as internal and external. Also, bring out five dimensions of risk management abilities-social risk management, natural risk management, progress risk management, quality risk management, and cost risk management. Thus, by analyzing meaning and relative studies of project performance, I found that past studies focused more on improving project performance, less on effectiveness of performance of project management.Therefore, based on researching, this study brings up the hypothesis of the module of how capability of project risk management can affect project management. And through the questionnaire survey and data statistics, using structural equation model method, on the scale of the reliability and validity as well as the research hypothesis, the inspection reveals that the capability of project risk management has influence on different dimensions on project management performance.Last but not least, based on practical proof, this study gives some advice on how enterprises can improve performance through increase capability of project risk management. And, willing to have this study be more scope extended.
