Research On Safety Supervision And Management Under New Situation In Tianjin

As economy increase in China, safety issues become more and more important.Current situation on work safety is serious, as major accidents happen frequently,heavy lose of life and property. This paper introduces some basic concepts of safety inproduction and compares the difference of safety work in production between Chinaand developed countries. By analyzing the general situation and the trend in the safetywork in production in Tianjin, we identify the overall characteristics and potentialproblems in our safety work in production. In the end, we propose idea and strategiesto increase the supervision and management of safety in production.Over the past few years, the municipal government of Tianjin has been fullycommitted to enhancing the standard of safety work of Tianjin. Our strategy has,therefore, been to foster self-regulation by duty holders, through legislation andenforcement, we have seen clear and concrete signs that the safety performance of theconstruction industry in Tianjin has been steadily improving, there is still a gap and acertain problem compared with the United States and Japan and other developedcountries. So we will not be complacent, we have mobilized major players and keystakeholders enhance the level of production safety work by “focus on one conceptand improve seven main systems”...
