With the rapid development of optoelectronic technology, Crystal materials such as Monocrystalline silicon have been more and more widely used in the electronic, optical, instrumentation, aerospace and other fields because of their unique properties. But In order to meet the requirements of the high-tech field, the crystal size tends to be larger, and the thickness of chip becomes smaller, which is a challenge for the processing of crystal materials. With the increasing of the crystal size and the cutting depth, the process will produce cutting fluid into the poor and chip removal problem that seriously affects the quality of crystal slice during the slicing of the crystal materials by the fixed abrasive wire saw. The fixed abrasive twisted pair wire is helpful to solve the trouble in the cutting of the large size crystal materials because of the using of stranded wire, which can promote the cutting fluid flows and improve the chip performance.According to the characteristics of the resin bonded fixed abrasive wire saw, this paper designs a device for the fixed abrasive twisted pair wire saw manufacturing which can achieve its manufacturing. It has important application value and engineering significance for the slicing of large-crystal materials. The main design works are as follows.(1)In order to ensure the quality and avoid the falling of grains of the resin bonded fixed abrasive wire saw, analyze the influence of the main parameters of the twisted pair wire saw, such as diameter, pitch, helix angle, tension etc. Determine the parameters which need important consideration and get the range of the parameters through the analysis of the twisting deformation combined with the critical condition of single-wire saw macro failure.(2)According to the stranded principle, the overall scheme suitable for the twisted pair wire saw manufacturing has been proposed and analyze each specific scheme in detail using the idea of modular design, including the single-line back-twist design, tension control design, constant linear velocity design, and transmission design and so on. The scheme which has solved the main problems of wire torsion deformation, tension control and uneven pitch can satisfy the manufacturing requirements of the twisted pair wire saw in different pitch values and wire diameter.(3)Combined with the overall scheme, the device is divided into five parts, the rack, stranded part, guided part, received part and transmission part. Then, design each of the parts and make reasonable structure by taking advantage of common and standardized design techniques, including the design of the rack, the spindle support structure design, the spindle design, the winch design, structural design of the center gear, guided wheel design, the friction wheel design, the take-up device design. Others, the materials, dimensions and assembly of the components have been taken into account.(4)In the design process, the key parts have adopted standard parts as far as possible in order to reduce the difficulty of manufacturing and have finished the type-selection design. At last, the two-dimensional and three-dimensional assembly drawings of the device have been completed.
