Silicon wafer demand is great in the whole world.But the silicon wafer has high manufacturing cost.Currently,wire saw is the dominant cutting method.But,the manufacturing cost of the fixed abrasive wire saw is too high,and the cutting efficiency of free abrasive wire saw is low.To solve these problems,we proposed semi-fixed wire sawing method.In order to improve sawing efficiency,wire saw surface make groove that can enhance the wettability and adhesion on the surface of the wire saw.So it can carry more pulping into the cutting area to improve efficiency of cutting.Because of the groove on the wire surface of the wire saw,the abrasive can smoothly into the groove of the wire saw smoothly,reducing the abrasion kerf loss.In this paper,the wettability on the surface of the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw,the capability of adhesion and sawing performance were studied.The main contents include:(1)Related basic theory about adhesive were studied.Through research,that the main factors influencing the saw wire surface adhesion is wettability of solid surface.Then we studied on the relevant theories of solid-liquid surface wettability.And we analyzed the scope of application of every wetting equation.(2)Designed several Surface micro structure models of the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw.Through the theoretical research,analyzed and calculate its surface wettability.Studies had shown that the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw surface wettability superior to the free abrasive wire saw.The surface wettability of the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw is enhanced with trough type coefficient values decreases.Trial-manufactured the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw,the correctness of the theoretical research is verified by experimental method.(3)Research on the capability of adhesion of semi-fixed abrasive wire saw by the theoretical method.Analyzed the factor of influence,and The experimental results had shown that the semi-fixed abrasive wire saw carried the abrasive performance superior to the free abrasive wire saw.(4)Build a test platform,research on the capability of adhesion of wire saw in the actual cutting.Study the cutting performance by semi-fixed wire saw and steel wire saw cutting experiment,The experiment results shows that multi-strands wire are better than steel wire in sawing efficiency and surface roughness,but the kerf loss is wider than steel wire under the same process conditions.
