Environmental mass incident is a subclass of group events, referred to as " caused by environmental problems."In recent years, the contradiction between economic development and environmental protection has become increasingly prominent. The environmental issues increasingly attract attention, and began to fight for the protection of the environment interests through a variety of ways, prompting environmental mass incident frequent occurrences.As a major players,public has a decisive role on the occurrence and development of the events. The research of the public participation in Environmental mass incidents,can provide the basis for preventing and responding to such events.
