Study On CNOOC International Competitiveness Based On BP Neural Network

At present, our country is in the period of economic structure transition.It isunrealistic over-reliance on resource consumption to improve the GDP.Oil companiesas the high energy consumption and high pollution enterprises, cannot pursuiteconomic benefits, disregarding both environmental benefits and social benefits.Therefore, the concept of the international enterprises’ competitiveness should containthe economic indicators, environmental indicators and social indicators. Designingscientifical and reasonable enterprises’ international competitiveness evaluation indexsystem, it is very necessary for enterprises to improve international competitiveness.On the basis of reading the relevant literature and the related theory, this paperdiscussed the theories and methods of evaluation of the oil companies roughly.Firstly, this article gives a more comprehensive, scientific evaluation indexsystem of international enterprises’ competitiveness, through the analysis of theresearch on the international competitiveness of enterprises and related concepts ofthe international competitiveness. Secondly, the author analyzed the factors affectingthe international enterprises’ competitiveness, made clear of the basic problems of theevaluation index system of international enterprises’ competitiveness and designed theevaluation index system including economic environmental and social factors.Theindicators were given clear definitions and detail explanations one by one. Finally, theweight of every index is determined, and the evaluation model of internationalenterprises’ competitiveness on the basis of BP neural network is built and applied toCNOOC after collecting the data of10petroleum enterprises. According to the results,the competitive level is carried. Finally, CNOOC compared with the large foreign oilcompanies have a gap between the enterprises in the technology innovation capability,production scale, management capability, sustainability and enterprise socialresponsibility. The countermeasure suggestions for CNOOC’ decision makers arebrought out.
