Comparative Study On The Integrated Circuit Industry International Competitiveness Of China And The United States

Firstly,the paper respectively gives a review from three aspects:the industry's international competitiveness evaluation index and method of research,the integrated circuit industry international competitiveness of comparison by country and influencing factors,combing the related literatures at home and abroad.On the basis of summarizing the predecessors' research experience,this paper introduces the connotation of industrial international competitiveness and the commonly used measure index,creatively put forward the integrated circuit industry international competitiveness evaluation model of five provide theoretical basis for the following research.Then in the aspect of the detailed comparative analysis on the present situation of the development of IC industry between China and the United States,the results shows that:(1)the integrated circuit industry output value of the United States ranks first for decades,long-term occupied the 50% of the global IC market,while China accounted for only 17.36% of global market share,the two countries integrated circuit output were unequal;(2)in recent years,the added value of China's integrated circuit industry in its contribution to GDP is slightly higher than that of the United States,showing that the position of the integrated circuit industry in China's economic development is gradually rising;(3)compared to the United States,the integrated circuit presents a large market in China,the trade deficit is also rising.Furthermore,based on five models,the paper carries on comparative analysis to the integrated circuit industry international competitiveness of China and the United States from existing competition among enterprises,the new threat,the threat of substitutes,the demand side and the bargaining power of suppliers,found that China do not have advantage over the United States.Then the paper combines five model research and several commonly used industry international competitiveness evaluation index,made comprehensive evaluation based on principal component analysis model of the integrated circuit industry international competitiveness of China and the United States,concluded the composite scores of integrated circuit industry international competitiveness in China and the United States and made vertical and horizontal comparison.The results shows that from perspective of the overall level of development,China's integrated circuit industry is big but not strong,still lags behind that of the United States.After which the paper combines era background and the research achievements of predecessors,build the influence factors of international competitiveness of China's integrated circuit industry framework,combining with the above scores of Chinese industry international competitiveness composite out of the year 2000-2016,regarding it as the dependent variable,using Spss23.0 based on factor analysis,multiple regression model was established from the empiricalresults,finding out specific main factors restricting China's integrated circuit industry international competitiveness,and summing up implementation path of China's integrated circuit industry international competitiveness,aiming at providing the reference for the Chinese government,enterprises and other relevant departments and promoting the healthy development of the integrated circuit industry in China.Finally,according to research results,the paper provides the corresponding policies and suggestions for the promotion of competitiveness of China's integrated circuit industry international.
