Abstract: With the continuous development of the digital image processing technology andelectronic technology, and modern agriculture production process of continuous advance, imageacquisition and processing system has been widely used in civil, commercial, military and otherdifferent fields. Its main characteristic is convenient power supply, low energy consumption,and can be applied to all the fields of national production. In this paper, through the research ofembedded system intelligent control and digital image acquisition, design a kind of automaticacquisition system of digital image portable plant3D information based on embedded ARM;and the growth in the application of crop plant discussed deeply. This paper focuses on3Dinformation acquisition completeness and accuracy are analyzed, the hardware and software ofthe system are designed and realized.The main contents of this paper include: a detailed introduction to the digital image camera;control and management of USB interface; the processing and storage method of multi-channeldata is realized by embedded ARM; in the study of image is proposed by using the method ofimage noise extinction. The main contents and results of the research are as follows:1. Hardware design of the acquisition and control plants3D image information. To realize theautomatic acquisition of digital image of plant3D information by ARM embedded chip. Thedigital image camera connected to the USB line of embedded control unit, by controlling theexternal relay image and disconnect power supply. The use of different angles, multiplecameras at the same time, multi angle, multi information acquisition of plant growth, andrealizes the automatic storage and display. And the design of the keyboard, to realize thecontrol and management of the whole system. In the design through the UART serialcommunication between personal computer can be realized with PC, can shoot images andconnect to the computer network.2. The operating system cuts, installation, and the design of image acquisition and processingsoftware package. In the design process, because it only involves ARM for image acquisition,display, input and storage etc, by embedding the characteristics of Linux system the system wascut and design, realization of the special characteristics of the operating system. The driverprogram design between USB digital image and embedded, the normal communication between CPU and USB interface. And the design of the work on embedded ARM image compressionand other image processing algorithms. The processing and storing images.3. Through the design of the whole plant of3D information acquisition system, monitoringand management of real-time, the full realization of crop plant growth process, the growth ofthe commodity grain, high yielding a strong support, has very high scientific significance andpractical application value.
