An Analysis On Environmental News Of "Inner Mongolia News"

"Based on the research, investigation and further decision-making process, environmental news is a public product relies on accurate materials and latest reflection of environmental issues", difined by Michael Frome who emphasized that the making process of the environmental news should be scientific, investigative and critical, which is different from traditional news.Due to the unique natural environment and the undergoing development in Inner Mongolia, environmental problems are emerging, and people pay more attention on environmental news via lots of reports and coverage. This dissertation will take environmental news of "Inner Mongolia News" as an example to analyze coverage topics, tendencies, forms, resources of clues etc. What the aim is, summarize principles and methods of environmental coverage as well as discuss problems and the future tendency of environmental news.Specifically, the dissertation will try to argue that there should be a breakthrough on expanding of news points, applications of background, enhancement of environmental protection awareness and expression of humanistic spirit with the professional and specific principles and methods, in order to form into a complete system. Furtheremore, it is no doubt that there are still some problems proposed, like the difficulty of combining professional content and easy-understanding expression, the shallow criticism of supervision coverage, the passive role of audience, the less attitudes of environmental events and so on.Finally, the dissertation emphasizes that environmental news needs to enhance the profrofessional level, as well as being a supervisor, an advocator, a researcher for environmental protection. What is the most important, it also put forward that citizen involvement, a broader and deeper international vision, putblic awareness of protection all contribute to get a balance in environmental news and coverage.
