| The detection of pigs’ healthy elements during their breeding procedure is a very importantpart. In the recent major pig farms, electronic balance or platform balance is adopted tosimply test such rough indicators as the weight during the process of pigs’ growth. It is verydifficult for such an artificial measurement to precisely reflect some significant performanceindicators like the growing speed, the temperature changing, the utilization of fodders, etcduring the pigs’ daily feeding. Also, it fails to make effective measures and predicting dataanalysis when problems occur to the pigs’ health in the course of their growth. Therefore, it isextremely crucial to designing a system by which the health conditions can be preciselymonitored in the process of the pigs’ breeding with the purpose of improving the level ofbreeding pigs in China.In order to make the monitoring of pigs’ growth automatized, intelligentized, elaboratedand diachronic, infrared temperature measurement technology, RFID (Radio FrequencyIdentification) technology, weighing technology and automation control technology will beused in this study, to project a monitoring system to detect the pigs’ health conditionaccurately. Through diachronic detection and prediction, as well as the data analysis aboutgrowing performance, it is better for us to identify the pigs’ health conditions, meanwhile, itwill do favor to prevent the pigs’ epidemic.This measuring system mainly includes two parts, namely, single chip microcomputermonitoring system and testing mechanical system. The monitoring system, centering theAT89S52single chip as its controller, constructs the whole slave computer automatic controlsystem, whose principal functional modules involve RFID (Radio Frequency Identification),infrared temperature measurements, weighing on the fodders, data storage, display, delivery,time display and so on. While the measurements of pigs’ feeding incorporate the rabblingmechanism, pigs’ cribs, mechanical devices outside the test station, the design of hoppers, etc.The features of this designed system are as follows:(1) RFID is employed to recognizeeach pig;(2) weighing sensor is used to measure the food intake of pigs;(3) infraredtemperature measurements are adopted to measure the pigs’ temperature precisely;(4)automatic alarm alarms in real time when data are monitored abnormally.The electronic monitoring part of this system follows the principle of modularization; also,it enjoys the mature and cheap AT89S52SCM as the core hardware of the master controller,which finally makes the cost greatly reduced and the reliability significantly improved. Mostof the mechanical part is made of regular angle steel and steel plates, so it is simply processed and costs cheaply.After the measurement, it indicates that the errors of the weighing measuring sensor areless than2‰. It demonstrates that the electronic ear tag of the RFID system reflectssensitively with a short identifying time and comparatively long effective identifying distanceof10centimeter. And it shows that both the software system and the hardware system can bein stable operation. In general, this system has already meet the requirements of the design,which will in some way be important to the monitoring of pigs’ health and epidemic in China. |
