The Research Of The Yellow River Magazine

The magazine named yellow river was published by ShanxiWriters Association on January25th,1985.With the efforts of manyexcellent editors such as Cheng Yi and Zhang mingwang,themagazine has been an important part of the whole Shanxi literaturein nearly30years. Because of its distinctive attitude, elegantliterary grade,innovative typesetting and design,it became thefavorite of readers,thus brought in a very broad impact in Shanxieven in the whole country. But this magazine did not have thedomestic academic attention in along time.This paper is a text analysis on the yellow river, usingqualitative research and literature analysis methods,through theanalysis of the theory and the text, we are looking for the editingfeatures and values of the yellow river from the perspective ofcommunication. The thesis is divided into three chapters.The firstchapter is a brief introduction about the magazine.It includes thefound background, the development process, and the externalenvironment that it faced.We analyze the editorial art of editor,findthe reasons of its unique editing feature.The second chaptershows the relationship between the magazine and its writers. Withthe content published in the yellow river from1985to1990,we analyze the diversification of the writers in Shanxi province in orderto emphasis the importance of the magazine. In the thirdchapter,we conclude the contribution of yellow river to modernShanxi literature,highlight the unique significance of the magazine.
