In the increasingly harsh market competition environment, crane manufacturing industryhas experienced great change. At the same time, the environment put forward higherrequirements to the modern crane manufacturing enterprises. General parts have a wideapplication and a higher reuse in the process of product design and manufacture. Therefore,how to make full use of the resource design and the design of new products has a greatresearch value.This paper constructs the sharing system of crane general parts based on network,integrates the general parts library of enterprises, suppliers, and the individual. The papermakes full use of the advantages of the internet and lets the designers obtain model of thegeneral parts and data resources quickly in the design of crane. The system makes the productdevelopment cycle shorter and the crane product quality better, at the same time, enhances thecompetitiveness of enterprises.This paper describes the research background of this research and the development andapplication status of this field in domestic and foreign, explains the significance of research inthis topic, main research contents and organizational structure of the paper are put forward.The paper analyses and studies the C/S mode and B/S mode, on this basis, takes theadvantage of them, designs the framework structure of system with hybrid network model.The application mode requirements and functional requirements of system are analyzed. Uponthese, the main functions of the system are designed. Through the user service layer, functionlayer, interface layer and the underlying data resources to establish the technical system ofdevelopment of crane general parts library system. The key technologies in systemdevelopment process are described in detail. Development goals, working model and the technical route of system are determined, reasonable development tools are used, the mainfunction modules of the system are discussed in detail;Finally, the example of3D general parts library system for crane industry proved thecorrectness and feasibility of this general parts library system. System can realize onlinebrowsing, online query, online parametric-driven, uploading general parts, downloading themodels of general parts and parameter reports, etc. This system can also provide variousmodel formats to different CAD software users.
