Development And Application Of Network Adapters For Environmental Monitoring Equipment

With the gradual strengthening of the people’s awareness of environmental protection, the requirements of environmental monitoring is more and more high. Distributed online environmental monitoring system for different measuring fields constantly is put into practical application. However, China’s environmental monitoring data transmission is mainly achieved through the wired networks currently. With the development of mobile communications technology has also promoted the development of environmental monitoring wireless and networked, especially the support of GPRS data transmission technology has brought unprecedented development space for environmental monitoring technology.This paper implement a set of environment automatic monitoring system based on the remote data network, choice the open source embedded operating system RT-Thread as the control unit. The Modbus protocol is designed for local network communication. And use both wireless universal packet services (GPRS) and short message service (SMS) as the major restraint of the data transmission. A set of environmental monitoring instrumentation network adapter is developed for the networked environmental monitoring instruments, which provides a more comprehensive network access solutions.
