With the rapid development of computer technology and the mobile communication technology, remote monitoring system based on GPRS is increasingly becoming a research hotspot. GPRS-based communication technology which provides raw data for the monitoring system and ensure the stability of the data. is an important part of the remote monitoring system.Currently, the information construction of the oil industry is still relatively backward. For example, most oil wells of Shengli oilfield have not been monitored for achieving the data of the status and liquid production of the oil well. For such a situation, this paper researched on the GPRS-based communication technology in oil well monitoring system and obtained the oil well data.First, this paper analyzes the network scheme of communication system, GPRS technical in this project, TCP/IP technology and the choice of transport layer protocol. Then, based on the above analysis and discussion and the the actual situation of monitoring system, two parts of the field data was integrated together. The communication solution was detailed designed for the data of electrical parameters, the indicator diagram and liquid production. Next, the communication protocol and communication items were introduced.After the scheme of the communication system was determined, this paper analyzed the key technology in data communication. Then the implementation of data communication was introduced in several different aspects. The program function summarization of data communications, the overall implementation of data communication, the specific implementation of data communication and the improvement of program functions were included. Multi-threading, thread synchronization, communication time out mechanism, re-accessing data, exception handling and automatic recording of communication failures and data exception were analyzed.Finally, after several times of debugging, the oil field data was stably obtained by communication program.
