Research On WCDMA Wireless Network Optimization

This paper discusses importance and urgency of WCDMA wireless network with WCDMA practical optimization and history of the development of mobile communication as starting points. Paper analyzes several key technology of WCDMA and discusses the flow charts of network optimizations, it simply explains the handover, interference, coverage, data configuration and other specific problems to solve in certain wireless network circumstances, and it also provide optimization process in these circumstances.China Unicom is the only WCDMA wireless network provider in China, it has a strong market competitiveness of telecommunication with its diversity, high speed and wide range of features. At the same time, these characters makes providers must consider many different needs of business, and also the coexistence of GSM, CDMA, PHS, WLAN, CDMA2000and TD-WCDMA. How do we solve the conversion between them and decrease the exclusion on mutual interference in this complex environment is the subject needs continuous study.WCDMA wireless network optimization is a difficult and persistent work, it not only requires technical staff to carry out theoretical analysis and verification of design in planning stage, but it also needs actual practice in establish and maintenance process and finding of problem to target the optimization plan.
