| In the era of Web2.0, the Internet technology development has enteredinto a new phrase, user-centric philosophy dramatically changed the onlineworld. As a product of Web2.0, the development and maturity of virtualreading community greatly subvert the prevailing concept of reading.Seen from the content construction of the virtual reading community, withtheir humane operation, personalized page design and unique communityatmosphere, virtual reading communities such as Douban reading, Sinareading and Hongxiutianxiang have maximized the readers’ innovation. Withoriginal contents, comments and other forms derived from a series of readingcontents, these virtual reading communities have attracted a large number ofloyal readers.Through the observation of these three virtual reading communities, Ifound that in addition to the relationship of traditional book readers and thereading contents, Chinese virtual community also reconstructed therelationships between readers and reading media, reading contents andreading media. What’s more, the relationships between the elements thatconstitute the subject of reading also have been subverted. This paperdiscussed how the Chinese virtual communities reconstruct the relationshipbetween the elements of reading subjects and objects, and how they changethe relationship between the readers and its parallel social categories.Relying on the above analysis, this paper tries to compare the book-readingrelation based on Web2.0with the traditional paper-reading relations, andtries to summarize the methods which can apply to the development ofE-book. At last, this paper also point out a series practical problems whichChinese virtual reading communities may lead to. |
