With the development of communications technology and internet, the educationinformationization construction has developed rapidly. Lots of universities and collegeshave planned and set up their digital campus platforms in practice teaching. Offering adigital learning environment to learners is the most important functionality of digitalcampus. Virtual learning community is the significant presence of digital learningenvironment, which is an online learning and communication platform on internet. Inthis environment, learner plays a role and gets accordingly permission and responsibility, commutating equally and learning cooperatively through the platform, working togetherand fulfilling their knowledge architecture."All involve" and "share and joint" becomethe purpose of the construction of learning resource of community.Based on the current usage of virtual community in the vocational-technical schoolof the Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, this paper studies the theories ofvirtual community and the issues in practice thoroughly. Combining Web2.0technologies, such as AJAX, RSS, Tag and Wiki, the author suggests a web2.0-basedthree-tier structure model for virtual learning community, and plans the system functionof virtual learning community based on this model. Meanwhile, by applying relatedWeb2.0theories and technologies, author designs the application layer composed threesubsystems which are online course learning, personal learning space and collaborativelearning space, Realization of the design system of virtual community platform basedon Web2.0.At the same time, the platform for the test function, performance, interfaceand other related, and gains the real performance through analyzing the data result ofthree pressure tests that simulate real environment. The innovation of this study isapplying the web2.0technologies and relative theories and technologies to thefunctionalities of virtual learning community, strengthening the personalization oflearners on the base of collaborative learning. Finally, author proposes the unsolved or imperfect issues of the web2.0-basedvirtual learning community, and analyzes the prospect of further study, whichaccumulates valuable experience to future virtual community’s services.
