In year of2012, Foshan, one of the second batch of experiment cities for TNC(ThreeNetworking Convergence), directed, planned and carried by Guangdong CATV(Cable TV),launched the construction program of the iHDTV(interactive High-resolution Digital TV)platform. The author of this paper, me, was involved in the BOSS(Business&OperationSupport System)planning and designing and its implement.The goal of that is to make a solution,a platform in realilty,which is customer orientedand can dig out add-on value in detailed managment by ceaselessly innovating in providingproducts and services based on our iHDTV platform,fulfilled now and flexible in the future.This thesis presents the solution, a design of BOSS, guided by NGOSS methodology,following the eTOM model and the SOA architecture, giving a thoughtful investigation toCable TV network and it’s services, after studying the Client-Account-Consumer (CAC)model, the Product model and the Tariff and Promotion model.By30th June,2012,the BOSS had been established and Foshan CATV Co.eversince hasbeen useing the system to serve all it clients,ranging from Cable TV,iHDTV,Time-shifting TVprogram,information browsing,NPVR,TV Games to Video Telecommunication.And by performing like that Foshan CATV co. is now shifting into a comprehensivemuti-media information provider.
