Based The Broadcasting Etom Model Business Operations Support Systems,

In this paper,the author designs a cable operation support system(BOSS).This system is based on customer management and supports multiple services.The ETOM framework can serve as the blueprint for this system.This platform is also designed based on the Telecommunications Management Network(TMN)model.Now,Service providers are constantly challenged to release innovative and reliable products and services as well as reduce costs.Increasingly,the new services demanded, transcend traditional technology platforms and business divisions.BOSS is very important for cable operators.Firstly,the paper describes the related concepts,status,development and roadmap of BOSS.This paper focuses on the BOSS's overall planning and design of cable business model,including customer model,product model and billing model.Research and Implementation of these business models is our main workload.Secondly,the author simple described the construction of the system,such as the technical framework,network architecture and platforms Compositions.Finally,the paper describes the Implementation and outlook of this system.
