These years, Digital TV was booming in China. This trend will drive the whole broadcasting and TV industry enormous change. And Operation Support System (OSS) of digital TV is the most important factor, also the foundation that digital TV can launch the large-scale value-added services of next. With the general application in China, what kind of digital TV's OSS architecture is adopted to accord with Cable TV and Digital TV double great development is we must consider and research. So this paper will mainly focus on Digital TV OSS's designing and implementation issues through a real project of the Digital TV operator. As the principal of purchase owner,I've taken responsible for the whole procedures, which including business requirement collection and analysis,system design summarization and specification. I've led and guided on-shore engineers to design.debug and test the syestem.Telecom Management Forum submits the New Generation Operation Support System based enhanced Telecom Operation Map.NGOSS is an organic and integrated system that provides efective support for enterprise management business and network maintenance. It defines the process of enterprise management in the model of eTOM.The enterprise can confirm pivotal process that can be accepted in the service organization. Command system as an important part of OSS provides the service of commands and harmonization. The system can make enterprise inner process favorably and enhance the support ability for new service.After researching the up-to-date trend of DTV in the world,the newest version overthrew oldest one to embody flexible and scientific frames and methodologies while it also perfects some good ideas based on previous DTV OSS production. Through great efforts with more than 10 times of upgrade,the system has been successfully running on ending nets for SZ DTV Business Departmants. Customer has given it high recognition due to its effective designing and steady performance. I've summed up those experiences from my half and one year's work in this paper. At the same time,writing the paper also was a good practice which can apply for those knowledge learned from the classes of graduate student.
