Smart Data Concentrator Base On Zigbee Technology

Intelligent buildings and Fieldbus Technology are two hot spots in the development oftoday’s automation and control. Data concentrators based on Fieldbus Technology, can takethe data communications with construction equipment of building, while transmitting databack for data analysis timely and accurately. It appears a good solution to solve the difficultyof perception and monitoring of construction equipment, greatly promoted the development ofintelligent buildings. However, there are a wide range and huge difference of constructionequipment in communication protocols and corresponding Filedbus Technology. Only tomeet the specific Filedbus Technology, but not to support multiple protocols simultaneouslyaccessing data concentrator, will greatly limit the carrying out of the specific work.Meanwhile, due to the difference if Filedbus Technology, the data collected from differentconcentrator messily disorder, it’s also hard to analysis directly for the upper layer application.In addition, most of the concentrator and terminal equipment are controlled by cabletransmission, when there are high cost of renovation and it is also difficult to do it.Based on the above issues, the paper propose a program., which using a Zigbee wirelesscommunication network instead of a wired network and which can simultaneously accessmultiple Fieldbus Protocols and different types of devices. The program carried normalizedoperations, shielding the underlying differences in the situation of different data collectionterminals, making the host computer system uniform for all equipment data acquisition easily.Finally, I achieve a paper-based intelligent data concentrator based on Zigbee wirelesscommunication with the above design. The concentrator is used for low-end devices for datacollection and monitoring, and to provide a stable source of data for the upper layerapplication.
