Based On Zigbee Technology, Wireless Gas Meter Reading System Design And Implementation

The Zigbee is a technology of short distance wireless communication that has the uniting technical norms, its PHY layer and MAC layer is an IEEE802.15.4 protocol standard , the network is worked out by Zigbee alliance , application layer is exploited according to the consumer's requires ,so the technology can provide a multiplicity method for consumer to structure network.According to IEEE802.15.4, the Zigbee's job frequency channel are 3 frequencies. Respectively for 868 MHz , 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz, our countries common use 2.4 GHz frequency , there are 16 channels in this frequency, the data transmission velocity is 250 kbps.In a Zigbee network, Zigbee equipment can structure star network or point to point network, within every Zigbee network , respectively for 16 bit short address or 64 bits long address. On wireless communication technology, adopt CSMA-CA way to avoid the conflict between radio wave, besides, build entire respondent communication protocol to insure transfer data reliability. Zigbee equipment is low-power consumption equipment , the radio output is 0 ~3.6 dBm, communication distance is 30 ~ 70 ms , there are energy detecting and the chain circuit mass instruction ability on Zigbee equipment, according to these, equipment can adjust the equipment's voluntarily. For safety and secrecy of communicating data between Zigbee equipment, Zigbee adopt the 128 bit secret key encryption algorithm to protect transferred data information.Wireless gas-fixture data collection system is primary application field of Zigbee. A long time, wireless gas-fixture data collection is a very important problem. The family gas-fixture data is the most primitive data on sells process to gas relevance industry. The accurate degree and timeliness of the data can affect other informatization level in this industry. Wireless gas-fixture data collection system have very highly demand to the transmission and saving of wireless communication data.and power dissipation.
