According to FAO statistics, the rapid development of China’s animal husbandry, animalhusbandry has become the most important one big country. Ministry of Agriculture in2006promulgated and implemented the "animal identification and breeding records managementapproach" to strengthen the livestock identification and records management, theimplementation of a livestock animal identification requirements of a standard, RFIDtechnology is an inevitable trend of introducing applications. At home and abroad, manycompanies have developed a system based on RFID automation pig, and successfully appliedin a number of farms, and achieved remarkable results. But with the scale of China in recentyears the rapid development of aquaculture, increasing intensification and scale rapidlyexpanding into the modern information management technology is becoming increasinglyimportant. For a single pig farm automation systems, backward C/S structure managementsystem has been difficult to meet the large-scale, cross-regional farming enterpriseinformation management needs.This paper analyzes the current domestic and international automated pig system statusand RFID technology in animal husbandry applications, combined with China’s actualconditions pig breeding industry, and in order to meet the different areas of cross-regionalscale aquaculture farming enterprises form a variety of farming the actual needs of large-scaleRFID-based intelligent pig management system solutions. System uses intelligent pigsubsystems and information management subsystem two structural design:1.Smart pig subsystems: system design follows the aquaculture production of pigs fedad libitum laws, integration of production performance of pigs, sows group-housed, and othermajor commercial pig breeding pigs precision smart farming needs, licenses for the use ofRFID electronic ear automatic identification of pigs, through the establishment of variousfarms in the automatic feeding system for pig production information collected through theInternet to bring together enterprise management platform.2. Information management subsystem: The system uses B/S (Brower/Server)information systems architecture, Web Services technology used in RFID smart pigmanagement system, the operator need only a browser can log platform for data processingand maintenance, to improve the farm data processing speed and security.The Ministry of Agriculture Quality Supervision and Testing Center pigs (Guangzhou)and the Guangdong Provincial Center pig determination help and support for this system wasinitially designed and carried out in a production environment evaluation experiments. Experimental results show that the size of RFID-based intelligent pig management systemusing RFID technology through the Internet to timely and accurate ideas on farming elementsautomatic monitoring, management system can automatically aggregated data for statisticalanalysis farming to facilitate enterprise management personnel quickly locate problem events,master breeding situation, and can automatically generate various reports and chartsinformation for large-scale, cross-regional basis and scientific farming to provide decisionsupport data, improve production and economic benefits.
