With the development of technology and the advance of people's standard of living,automobile becomes widespread vehicle.How to achieve the purpose of efficient management of automobiles becomes a problem.In our country,the research and application of automobile management,car tax income,road information system,automobile GPS and automobile against theft drop behind, which is far from automatization and intelligentizaion.Vehicle license plate is the uniqueness sign and its primary functions are visibility and uniqueness.With the development of Intelligentialized transportations,intelligence comes into prominence.GA36292 vehicle license plate in use has shortages in visibility and uniqueness.Existing automatic license plate recognition is based on the technology of image segmentation and recognition.Image recognition is affected badly by pollution,light,distance,angle and position.The cost of algorithm and memory space is great,so its realization is difficulty.Image recognition has no use with the problem like the abuse of license plate,plate-stealing and automobile without plate, which gives chance to the crime such as the abuse of license plate,plate-stealing, automobile-stealing,carjacking,escape from traffic accident,vehicle smuggling. These crimes threaten social order,bring great loss to economy and make efficient management of motor vehicles become more difficult.Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) is a new of Automatic Identification, which has successfully applied in the tracking and identification of multi-target applications.Its advantages are:contactless operation,large storage capacity,rapid recognition and multi targets recognitions.So the importance to RFID is attached by people recently.Comparing with image recognition and other automatic recognition systems,we can find the advantages of RFID: 1) contactless recognition,far distance2) rapid speed of recognition3) recognition of object with high speed4) read through nonmetal material5) strong anti-disgusting working environmentalSo we could see that,applying RFID into license plate will rise the intelligentized degree of Automatic Identification of vehicle management system, will inhibit the abuse of license plate,plate-stealing,automobile-stealing,carjacking, escape from traffic accident,vehicle smuggling.With the wide use of RFID technology in every living aspect,we have to face with the issue of RFID security and privacy.Besides the security threat which is similar with the web,it also contains communications link security,reader security, tag data security,and so on.Chapter 2 and chapter 3 introduced the composition of RFID System and Data transmission course,which are used to preparing for the explanation basic technology.We could find that the week points of RFID technology security mainly focus on the data transmission course,and it includes data integrity and security.We could ensure the data integrity by means of appropriate coding and examine manners.Chapter 4 introduced the concrete design and the recognition system of the license plate and elaborated the data communication course,including the course of tag transmitting data and reader obtaining the tag data.And then we introduced application system's frame as well as each constituent's function.The security weak points of license plate system appear in data transmission, which includes the communication between reader and tag,communication between reader and RFID middleware and communication between middleware and software. In the process of communication,clear data is captured easily by the attacker and then the attacker get user information from the data,because of these data is not encrypted.In view of the first two courses of communications,we adopt secret starting address,initialize with random number and authentication mechanism to ensure that attackers can't obtain the privacy data through the simple interception.In the data transmission process,the RFID middleware carries on the filtration of data according to the rule.The process can remove the reproduction data,the data no use to the application system and reduce transmission data greatly between module's which may prevent DoS(Disk Operating System) attack,namely transmitting massive trash data to make the microreader unable the normal work.In view of the security problem in the communications course between the middleware and application system,we may integrate the encryption service module and the certificate service module in the RFID middleware.We can carry on the encryption to the information which is going to be transmitted to guarantee the information security and the application system can confirm validity of the information.Due to the importance of the RFID middleware,we must follow the smallest authorized principle to ensure that the personnel without authorization can't obtain the right of using the RFID middleware.As a result of the cost restriction,the electronic tag we select does not have operational capability and cannot carry on the encryption to the transmission information,which causes system's security to be threaten inevitably and can't protect individual privacy well.The duty of how to realize high secure and low cost RFID application system still has lots of work to do.This is also the direction which we continue to study.
