Design And Development Of Laboratory Consuming Material Management System For Engineering College

A large amount, many types and changing quickly are characters of laboratoryconsuming material for engineering college. Then the management is difficult.Traditional manual management method can not satisfy the demands to the rapiddevelopment of high education and the enlargement of students. Those exiting marketmanagement software are versatile, but are unreasonable to profession set andmanagement system for engineering college. Therefore, developing laboratoryconsuming material management system to suit our practice is necessary.Based on the analysis of the management system and policy of the school ofmechanical engineering in Jinzhong university, and on the basis of the analysis ofdistribution and use of material, combined the actual needs, the system requirements aredetermined. System design module mainly has: system management module, materialmanagement module, storing in and out management module, information inquirymodule, purchasing application module and data analysis module. Each modulecontains a number of internal modules, used to achieve different function. This systemadopts ASP.NET as developing tool and C#as script language. The backstage databaseadopts SQL Server to carry on the design of database. B/S pattern is adopted as thestructure of this system. Eventually, the laboratory consuming material managementsystem for engineering college is finished.The system can satisfy the actual demands, so it is more practical. As a result of,the system can realize the information sharing, improve the work efficiency and trulyrealize of the consuming material management informationization.
