With the prosperous development of mass media, media industry is extremely developed, and media products are extremely rich. Nowadays media product image as the key factor of media products competitive strength has caused more attention. However, most of studies concerned on the media product image are now based on media image building instead of media product.This article takes the key object of study about the CBNweekly of media product image from2008to2013by literature methodology content, analytic method and so on. According to the research of media product image of the CBNweekly from the point of cover visual design and cover story topic features, this article summarizes overall tendency,characteristic and the problems of the CBNweekly, trying to find the common problem when building media product image. Meanwhile, on the basis of massive material, this article analyzes the strengths and weaknesses in order to reveal the significations of building media product image.
