The children’s education in museum and children’s museum in China are still under developing. Neither the formal education in school nor other informal educations, little notice the feature or the demand of children. Thus, this paper explores the theory and practice of children’s museums, trying to fill the gap.From aspects of organization and running of children’s museums, planning of space, strategies of exhibition designing, etc., combining theories on pedagogy, recognizing psychology, etc., this paper tries to build up modes that suitable to children, and plans flexible organization and runnings of children’s museum. Focusing on the educational role and functions of children’s museum, this paper plans different educational activities modes and contents of children’s museums. |
