"People's Daily" Reported Involving Shape Of Japan's National Image

In China’s relations with all the world, Japanese have been both subtle and complicated. Both from the geographic location and development space, the friendly cooperation between the two countries are almost the only way out. However, due to various historical reasons, national contradiction between China and Japan has always been difficult to reconcile. With the research results show that the Japanese media have to a lot of negative news reports on China, tried to "demonize". Japan’s image among China’s mainstream media, then, is how to present? In this paper, from the constructivist perspective, this paper studies how the mainstream media in China through the news reports to shape the national image.The article is divided into six parts:the first part introduces the "national image" and "national image" status and research significance, research methods, theoretical basis, etc;The second part introduces constructivist perspective in the study of national image; The third part expounds the mainstream media in the social mainstream ideology in the important role in the process of formation, to illustrate why the People’s Daily as a research text; The fourth part is the focus of the full text, the author from the subject classification, topic selection, the thesis summarized and reported inclination of the People’s Daily have been analyzed in nearly a decade of news text; The fifth part is summarized according to the results of the analysis presented in People’s Daily, Japan’s national image; Sixth part illustrates the characteristics of the People’s Daily on days of reports and regularity.Theoretical basis of this study mainly include the "constructivism theory","news frame theory" and "agenda-setting" theory. Selection of object of study for the People’s Daily from2003to2012, ten years involved in Japan. Anticipated target of the research is: overall involved daily news reports of content distribution; Reading People’s Daily, the shaping of Japan’s national image; Parsing logic and the characteristics of China’s mainstream media reports on Japan.
