Higher Research And Development Of Workflow Technology Department Web-based Office Automation System

With the rapid development and high popularity of software engineering and network engineering technology, social informationization and information automation mature increasingly, and network and office automation of departments in higher vocational colleges have become an inevitable trend. Global Institute of Software Technology, as unique to named software technology in Jiangsu Province, extremely demands network and software office automation. As a teaching management under the new situation, existing office automation system does not meet the needs of network office well.Firstly, this paper introduces the concepts and features of Office Automation and analyzes the actual needs of the Global Institute of Software Technology. Combining the actual work status and duties of our Institute, the paper focuses on the special requirements of the Web Office system and compares it with the Institute’s existing teaching systems. Secondly, the paper completes the overall design of Web office automation system with workflow model. Finally, the Web office automation system is introduced in the testing and implementation of teaching and administration in both directions. The paper comments on the implementation process of such five aspects as the administration management, staff information management, teaching management, student learning management and employment management.This system is based on workflow model, with B/S model, and uses Microsoft SQL Server2008as a back-end database and Windows Server2003as operating system platforms. Up and running in six months, through the provision of standardized, flexible business process management, the system is made fully functional, easy to use, with high security and reliability. Persons engaged in teaching management can gradually liberate from the business, which can greatly reduce redundant for teaching management institutions, radically improving the efficiency of the sector.
