With the vigorous development of higher education in China, a great many higher vocational academies, which meet the needs of the epoch and society, have grown by leaps and bounds. These academies, because they were started late, always have several campuses. Handling official business among these campuses usually relies on handwork or MIS software, lacking in a commonly-based platform, where different information and data can be shared and used easily. Thus, developing such an office automation system (OAS) for such an academy, especially for Taiyuan Tourism College, which will have to pass the teaching assessment organized by ministry of education in September of 2008, seems so urgently-needed. This paper is conducted based on the OAS of Taiyuan Tourism College Project, a project collaborated with East China Normal University. And the college has passed the assessment successfully. This researching topic has used a mixed model of B/S and C/S with the popular Microsoft .Net as its development environment. The designed software can be run on any Microsoft operating system. For the convenient, efficient and practical use of teachers and students, this software is developed based on B/S model; for the quick, flexible and powerful administrative management of teaching affairs office, students' affairs office and other divisions, the software is developed based on C/S model.Compared with the traditional curriculum arrangement, the sub-system of the curriculum schedule management proposed a personification-oriented strategic algorithm which meets several constraint conditions. It offers a systematic frame, working mechanism, passes the systematic test and trial running and finally fully meets the demands of Taiyuan Tourism College. The module of curriculum schedule sub-system for teachers and students is done in B/S model; management and control terminal is done in C/S model. A full collection of designing ideas, operational principle, operational mechanism and the test results of the software is also added. In the chapter of summary and prospect, I introduce what I have done for the subject and the innovation of it, offer my view for further functional extension of the software.
