Design And Development Of OA System In Higher Vocational Colleges Based On J2EE Technology

With the development of Internet technology and information technology, aninformation society is being formed. It has become an inevitable trend to buildinformational school departments. In the informational construction of vocationalcolleges, office automation is of great importance, which has brought fundamentalimpact on the traditional vocational colleges’ management behavior. It can improve theworking efficiency of the vocational colleges, to further deepen the efficiency of the“paperless office”. In some sense, Automation Systems in vocational colleges will beone of the competitiveness elements between schools in the future.The whole development process of the system will be in accordance with realizationof software engineering process development. First, a detailed feasibility analysisshould be carried out, on the basis of which a detailed requirement analysis, a generaldesign and a detailed design are made, and the system function modules and databasestructure have been carefully designed and divided; on this basis, the coding proceduresof system have been completed. Before putting the system into use, there is also acomprehensive test on the entire system, in the process of which, the commonly usedmodules in the office automation system are tested, and the test results prove that thesystem has met the requirements in ever aspect, so as to meet the user’s functionalrequirements, as well as to ensure the correctness of the system operation.In this thesis, the author used J2EE technology at front, and SQLServer2000development tool at back-end database. In the development of the system, theobject-oriented modeling is adopted, and the network virtualization technology onoffice automation system construction is described, in order to design and implementoffice automation system of Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College; the mainfeatures include document management, personal management, Workflow managementand other major functional modules, which, to a certain extent, has met theinformation management of vocational college daily work, and regulated the internalbusiness processes, achieved the flexibility of business processes, and hence improvedthe work efficiency of vocational colleges.In this thesis, the author mainly used workflow technology to develop the wholeprocess of office automation system in vocational college. In the development of the system, the object development process is controlled, and through the fullimplementation and application of the system, some imperfections have also been found.For example, when sending large images, it is easy to delay or block. These situationshave to be modified and improved in late maintenance stage of the project. Especially,in the e-mail management module, e-writing will be designed and developed, in order tofurther improve the level of e-mail management. Through consultation with my mentorand communication with my peers, basically, these problems which have occurred in thedevelopment of the system have been solved. It sets up a foundation for the practicalapplication of the system, which improves the working efficiency of student informationmanagement.
