Design And Implementation Of Home Network Remote Management System Based On CWMP

Both the number and the intelligence of the information device in home have a great development during the past10years. At the same time, the telecoms companies have gradually improved their service capabilities because of three networks convergence policy. However, as the result of the above development, these devices have more and more faults. The only way to solve this problem is the effective management of the telecoms companies on the user’s home network and equipments.The telecoms companies usually purchase the available management system to manage the transmission network with the network equipments adopt.But they can not find a available management system to manage equipments manufactured by different vendors. To build a comprehensive remote management system is very important for the telecoms companie.Compared to the traditional network management systems, there are two major problems need to be solved:1) The system functions must be perfect;2) repeating development of the user terminal agent must be solved.The background and the significance of this project are introduced at first, then the CPE WAN management protocol cluster (CWMP) and TR-069protocol are analysed. Analysis results according to comparing CWMP with SNMP protocol showed that CWMP more accord with the actual requirement for operators. The main works of this project are given as follows:1) A solution for home terminal remote management system based on the CWMP is gived. The solution gives guidance for managing the user devices and services with zero-touch;2) A device parameter model based on red-black tree is set up, and network address translation problem is solved in this project;3) CWMP agent for home gateway devices based on libevent library is designed and developed, and testing with the openACS execute.
