With the development of Internet technology and the popularization of the national triple play policy,the number of terminal devices in the network will increase.The traditional way for operators to manage these terminal devices is to manually configure and maintain them,which greatly increases the workload of the workers and the operating costs of the operators.How to conveniently and quickly manage these terminal equipments and reduce operating costs has become a problem that operators must consider.The emergence of network terminal management systems provides a way to solve this problem.The emergence of network terminal management system provides a way to solve this problem.Most of the network terminal management system is based on SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)as the management protocol,but with the increase of the number of terminal equipment,network communication congestion occurs.To avoid this situation,this network terminal management system uses CWMP(CPE WAN Management Protocol)as its management protocol.In the end,you can remotely manage CPE(Customer Premise Equipment)such as configuration issued,problem diagnosis,and firmware upgrade through the ACS(Automatic Configuration Server).The main work of this article is:1.This paper analyzes the present situation of the research in China and abroad,probes into the development trend and technical problems of the terminal management system,and clear the purpose and significance of the research.Then carefully analyzed the CWMP protocol,and designed the overall structure of the system according to the relevant technical specifications and the needs of the company's investigation and analysis of users.2.Implement the CWMP protocol on the CPE in a modular design mode to complete the functions that the terminal management system should have.3.In view of the current network environment of domestic network operators,the problem of peer-to-peer communication between ACS and CPE is studied when a NAT(Network Address Translation)device exists in the network,and N2 N technology is used to implement NAT Traversal.To achieve the purpose of peer-to-peer communications.4.In order to meet the operator "need real-time monitoring equipment parameters" Technical requirements,this design uses OPENWRT as the equipment operating system and uses the "CWMP Agent + Operating system" mode to achieve automatic detection of equipment parameters change after the active reporting ACS function.Also considering that the code should have good portability,can work on different equipment platforms,design a system adaptation layer to expand the portability of CWMP programs.Finally,through the test,it verified that the system was running normally and realized the scheduled function of the terminal management system based on the CWMP protocol.At present,the system has been deployed in the network environment of a operator to conduct trial operation tests.
