As more and more user devices access the network, the user distribution is broad, diverse device types, device configuration and maintenance of increasingly complex. ISP management configure the device facing many challenges. The current device to provide most of the configuration interface and the interface of the LAN side, so the ISPs still rely on outside personnel come to their homes for manual configuration of the equipment, installed low efficiency, high consumption costs, poor service-aware. To solve these problems, this paper research the equipment management system based on CWMP.Though analysis, this article select the CWMP agreement as the core protocol of the network management system, realizing the remote management from ACS to the CPE including device auto-configuration, remote software upgrading, remote monitoring and remote fault diagnosis.so that it is possible to achieve home network deviceszero-configuration.This paper firstly analyzes the research background and development in the current, deeply analyze the application scenarios based on user demand, according to the demand, design the overall functional block diagram. The relization of system is based on the CWMP, system architecture designing is based on C/S architecture model.Again, this paper presents the main processes of the the CWMP module in the device, deeply disscuss the processing of the module on the server configuration message. Then build a client-server communication system, taking into account network security is essential, in order to prevent counterfeit identity to intercepted and tamper communication data or even attack the network, this article uses the OpenSSL package, to establish a secure connection for the client and server side. Ensuring communication between client and server in safe environment.After the completion of the work, doing communications test of the system, use WireShark to get the message in the communication process,for example Inform, setparametervalues, getparametervalues method packets. The test results prove that the communication of the system is normal, realizing basic functions. The system is deployed in the mobile platform operators after the test is successful, being test run stage.,The system can achieve a range of WAN equipment remote management if equipment support CWMP, reducing the ISP’s operation and maintenance costs and user configuration management, and ensuring end-to-end quality of service. The system also has good scalability, diverse equipment can conveniently access platforms, just change the HAL layer of the device configuration file.In summary, this paper made useful explore and try on NMS based on the CWMP on the domestic, furtherly summarized at the end of the article, and made a forward-looking outlook.
