| Textile composite material reinforced by fiber, yarn and fabric is a kind of composite material combining3-D textile fabric and substrate. There are many different types of textile composites. Because of their good nature integrity and profiling, the overall woven three-dimensional composite materials has very important applications in the aerospace, transportation, energy, environmental protection, building facilities, sports and so on. Nowadays, with the development of composite materials technology and the improvement of3-D fabric’s quality and function, it has become the research hotspot to develop the3-D loom which can weave the three-dimensional fabric.This project mainly research about the processing technology and control system of3-D rapier Loom as following:(1) To research the key technology of weaving three-dimensional fabric, and design the weaving technology of the three-dimensional loom, especially the pay attention to the adaptability and diversity of three-dimensional looms. According to the special requirements of weaving three-dimensional fabric, the3-D loom was designed generally involving of its shedding, weft-insertion, beating-up, let-off and take-up system.(2) A new type of electronic shedding system for three-dimensional loom is proposed, which can control warp’s motion with multi-eye heddles to form the multi-shed. The servo-motor control system based on PLC is used to control shedding motion. The specific control method is analyzed and the servo drive system is designed.(3) Based on the analysis of the rapier’s motion law and the characteristics of rapier loom’s weft-insertion mechanism, according to the special requirements to loom’s weft-insertion mechanism for weaving three-dimensional fabric, a new rapier weft-insertion system is developed, in which the servo-motor is adopt to control weft motion. The servo-motor control system is used to control weft motion, and the variable distance of weft insertion process can be achieved.4) PC control software and programs are programmed by VB software. The program includes data input, status display and other functions. In the control system designed, the PC communicates with PLC via serial communication, the necessary control information and parameter setting data are input storage area and real-time data of PLC feedbacks are got. |
