The digital publishing is currently in a period of rapid development in China. In recent years, digital publishing industry has received great attention and strong support by the central government and local governments in China. They drew up series of policies to guide the development of digital publishing. Studying digital publishing industrial policy is very instructive for the government and corporations as well in theoretically and practically. The author studies China’s digital publishing industry policy systematically by using the industrial policy theory from industrial economics.The first chapter is introduction, which presents the background and goal of this thesis, meanwhile, some foreign cases and key points in this field are mentioned to represent main points and research methods.The second chapter is the overview of digital publishing industrial policy. Digital publishing policies and theories discussed in the thesis are illustrated the concept and function of digital publishing industrial policies, therefore to build the theoretical basis of the whole article.The following chapter mainly shows practices of digital publishing industrial policies in our country. From the angel of time, the author divides the periods of our digital publishing industrial policies vertically, analyzing the effects of digital publishing industrial policies from five parts:growth rate, industrial structure, industrial organization, industrial distribution and technological improvement of digital publishing industry.The fourth chapter is the key part of this thesis, analyzing some systematical issues of digital publishing industrial policies in our country. The author discusses the current systems in our country from three aspects horizontally: structural policies, organizational policies and development policies. In comparison with foreign cases the author finds out the problems in China’s digital publishing industrial policies.The last chapter is the suggestions to our digital publishing industrial policies. The author raises some solutions in regard to the points mentioned in the fourth chapter.
