With the rapid developmentof urbanization, urban drainage network systems,especially the large and medium-sized drainage network systems are becomingincreasingly complex and difficult to manage, the operations, managements,maintenancestrategies and upgraded decision-making of urban drainage networksystems faced increasingly high requirements. However, because of China’scity-development is focused on speed rather than municipal facilities constructions. Theproblem is lack of detailed information operation and management of the drainage pipenetwork.We can not grasp the real point of water drainage network and street realoperating conditions,meanwhile the problem is also the lack of appropriate technicalmeans for the maintenance and operations management,it is difficult to assess the effectof routine maintenance drainage network. We lack the technology and the necessarydata support for the drainage network of water supply, drainage capacity analysis andscheduling management.In an emergency situation the system can not get realinformation and provide timely and dynamic information, can not be based on dynamicinformation to develop appropriate contingency measures programs. Therefore rely ontraditional management ideas, management tools has become increasingly unable tomeet the modern urban drainage network operators and application needs of people’slives.This thesis is targeted at the digital drainage problem in urbanization process. Tobuild aplatform monitoring and managementof digitaldrainage networkas the mainobjectof study. in-depth analysis ofthe status quo and the problems ofthecitydrainagesystem. Pointing out the emphasis, difficulties in the construction of the system, and putforward the flexible enough system architecture to deal with future expansion of thedrainage management.With the needs analysis for the system, we designthe system fromthe system architecture, system workflow, friendly interface, system access control andsecurity, and other aspects of road five water monitoring system platform, this thesisformulate the basic framework, and propose the realization of ideas.Thesis has provided management basis on the realization of urban drainagenetwork information technology, precision management, the pipe network assessment,conservation planning, efficient coordination, contingency plans, rational and effective use of the command.Through this paper, an analysis of the actual demand proof, water monitoringsystem for road needs and functions were studied and summarized, and finally wesummarize the existing system deficiencies, and improve next work plans in accordancewith the requirements of the use ofunits which used the system.
