In our country, it is quite serious that drainage pipe walling up and cracking produces pollution and direct or indirect economy loss, so it is very imperative that we will research and design a drainage pipeline automation testing system.Firstly, I narrate article background, domestic and overseas development actuality, ultrasonic characteristic and basic principles of ultrasonic imaging in brief. Then I demonstrated mostly how to design drainage pipe ultrasonic imaging testing system in the text. Including circuit designing of ultrasonic transmitting, receiving, and amplifying, and designing of imaging software. During early days of research of the question of discussion, I carry out demonstration of ultrasonic signal coupling modes in the drainage pipe. Firstly, I assume that I may fit eight probes around the scrambler. Secondly, I use coupling ways of rotary probe. Finally, I select mirror reflecting for coupling signal. I program procedures of imaging software through using VC++6.0 by transferring dynamic link library (DLL). Drainage pipe ultrasonic imaging testing system, I design, can estimate contents of garbage and silt, and ware and tear of pipe's interior wall by using metal basin filled with water and simulating any side of actual drainage pipe under laboratory environment.The paper analyze ultrasonic A type imaging of simulating drainage pipe by using metal basin filled with water in detail, I compare ultrasonic A type imaging results of situations where there is garbage and silt on the bottom of metal basin, wear and tear of metal basin's interior wall etc. I estimate contents of garbage and silt, and wear and tear degree of pipe's interior wall through simulating drainage pipe. In the laboratory, Some experiments are carried out to test imaging inspecting plan. The results make clear that the plan is a reasonable solution to inspect the drainage pipe. Some important factors, such as system Signal-to-Noise, ultrasonic echo peak valve, system inspection precision analysis as well as improvement measures, ultrasonic imaging velocity and eliminating noise by wavelet analysis which effect drainage pipe ultrasonic imaging working smoothly, are summarized, and several measures are also putforward to solve these situations. Expectations, which explore inner flaws drainage pipe wall by wavelet analysis are given in the paper.We carry on studying and designing of drainage pipe imaging testing system comparatively lately. Therefore, it is epoch-making and meaningful that I study the drainage pipe ultrasonic imaging testing system for our country's online ultrasonic imaging testing system. And it is very much meaningful that we improve our country's drainage pipe level.
