With the advent of the new economic era, the person of talent become the key tocompetition among enterprises, human resources become the key of strategic resourcesto enterprise survival and development. Performance appraisal is the basis for humanresource management, and is the important content of the enterprises human resourcemanagement, to the enterprises, A complete evaluation system for employees isessential.At present, some enterprises have set a relatively complete performance system,however, the calculation and statistics of evaluation data are artificial and paper way,and it is heavy workload, the query and statistics is inconvenient, to meet the employeesperformance appraisal and ensure it running smoothly, companies urgently needinformation systems that provide KPI assessment of for achieve automation of appraisalwork.The efficiency of performance management system depends on two aspects. As fortheory, the system can be effectively operated only if proper managerial method isselected. As for technology, we should analyze and design the system basing on theexisting hardware and managerial mechanism, so as to advance the operationalefficiency of the system. According to the two reasons mentioned above, in this paper,Light of the actual of The first Branch of the Great Wall Oil Drilling Company wedeveloped the employee performance management system. Management through thesystem more intuitive platform for performance evaluation in the same large amount ofwork involved in data input, output, modify, query and other basic operations, handlinga large number of indicators in the standard, automatically generated performanceappraisal results and generate report, to facilitate further statistical analysis, users arealso more humane.The system is based on J2EE platform, using B/S structure, adoptof MVC pattern and the Struts framework for technical design. its main functions are:the management of a variety of basic information systems,import the performance, staffformulate performance, leadership check performance, search Archiving performance,Statistics types of forms for reporting statistics.We also constructed some experimentson the main function module, the test results indicate that the system run well.
