Design And Implementation Of The Management Information System Of Universities Cadres

With the rapid development of computer and information technology, managementinformation system, based on computer and information technology, is widely used inmany fields, and is leading the development of social informatization construction.Office automation, work procedures and data informatization have spread far and widein human daily work, especially in many state enterprises and institutions. As a branchof Management Information System (MIS), management information system ofuniversity cadres has its own characteristics. In traditional management model, thecharacteristics of university cadres management is tedious, inefficient and error-prone,etc. It should be without any delay. to achieve university cadres management from thetraditional manual management to automatic management. At the same time, as a partof office automation, management information system of university cadres should becombined with the actual situation in different places. However, during its process ofrapid development, there are many deficiencies, which affects greatly the developmentof management information system of university cadres.This article, based on the B/S development model, focuses on theoretical basis anddesign implementation of the management information system of university cadres anddesigns to achieve a complete information management system. Firstly, this thesisintroduces the background of the system development and the status and application inChina of the system. It also gives an introduction to some relating technologies and abrief description of the main problems to be solved. The demand analysis of the system,architecture design and cadre assessment are described in details and the database isprecisely designed and achieved. The following parts are the main aspects of theresearch in this article.1. Learning the current status and development of cadre management inuniversities. Through background research, combined with today’s mainstream direction,the author investigates in detail the related knowledge of the management of universitycadres, learns mainstream cadre management means and selects the technical route.2. Making the stages of software development of the management informationsystem in university cadres. From demand analysis to design achievement andexperiment, the MIS system is phased out in development and implementation to assure the progress and quality.3. Delivery of the management information system of university cadres. In thispaper, by realizing different functions the system is designed and implemented. Thefunctions include different permissions user login, user management, basic informationmanagement maintenance, training management, job mobility, incentive management,online assessment, inquiry management and related auxiliary functions have beenimplement.With the architecture of B/S, the tailored software, cadres information managementsystem is developed with high reliability, expansibility, and simple operation.
