Narrative Research Of Micro-blogging News

Micro-blogging is one of the most rapidly developing and widely used newapplications in the Internet field. Since the Twitter emerged in the United State in2006, aseries of micro-blogging sites springs up in China. The most influential one is the SinaMicro-blogging, which be launched in2009. And then, this brief and convenient mode ofnetwork communication is deeply favored by the Internet users. A large of mediaorganizations, media practitioners, social celebrities, and grassroots masses publishesinformation through it. So the micro-blogging becomes a major carrier of publishing andcommunicating news. Micro-blogging has become one of the most concernedcommunication phenomenon in the new media research areas, and the micro-bloggingnews has also become one of the focuses of the research of the Chinese scholars.News is a kind of narrative, and also the micro-blogging news. Analyzing themicro-blogging news from the theoretical view of the news narratology is a feasibleresearch method. This article aims to exploring the basic regular pattern and summarizingthe features of the micro-blogging news narrative, through analyzing the narrative elementsand basic structure of the narrative text from three aspects, such as narrative voice,narrative discourse.First of all, I state briefly the reason of selecting micro-blogging as the object of thestudy and selecting the research method of narratology in the preface. And then in the firstchapter, I describe the core issue of the article, research method and significance, and do abrief combing and commentary to the research achievements about micro-blogging newsnarratology at home and abroad.In the second chapter, I put the research base on the perspective of narrator,generalize the main features of the narrative subject, and analyze the new features onchoosing narrative perspective and focus.In the third chapter, I put the focus on the micro-blogging news narrative text. Ianalyze the characteristics of the micro-blogging news in narrative discourse from threeaspects: narrative structure, timeline and narrative symbol. The analysis point out that thesediscourse forms is not only the basic elements of the narrative text, but also the basic skillsand methods of producing news. The last chapter is a summary and generalization towards the whole article. Isummarize the micro-blogging news narrative features as three points: fist, fragmentizationthrough information reorganization; second, unlimitedly regeneration; third, functionalizednarrative.
