The popularity of information management system makes data management step into the information age, as a consequence, various types of data accumulated in the database is being increased exponentially. In front of the Big Data, scientific researchers raised higher demand about information services rather than common office automation, and hoping to obtain statistical analysis services conveniently in order to get valuable information by analyzing the Big Data.The conventional statistical analysis system has problems such as function is simple and user-level flattened, which can not meet the demand for statistical analysis of different scientific researchers, and the less of data scope access control when executing data statistics operation may cause data security problems. In this paper, I analyzed the status of statistical analysis system and the demand of university scientific research statistic, then designed and realized a statistical analysis system for grading user so that all levels of scientific researchers can get flexible, customizable data statistical services, provide data support for decision support.Firstly, we make a research about the current situation of statistical analysis system, analyze and then summarize the problems of the existing statistical analysis system, and on this basis, analyzed the data-level and user-level of statistical analysis system, then put forward the correspondence between user-level and data-level; then from bottom-up order described the design and realization of all levels and all functional modules base on J2EE framework, multidimensional data model, data warehouses, multidimensional data query and multidimensional data visualization technologies; Finally, a comprehensive test applied to the system to verify the accuracy and robustness of the system. The system is based on open source framework which is portable, reusable and easy to expand.
