The existing vehicle after-sale service system that was used can satisfy the request of transaction processing. However, it can't satisfy the demand of user's individual query and analysis, and it can't take the supportion to the customer. In order to slove this problem, we must establish the data warehouse system for this subject.The data warehouse is a data set of subject-oriented, integrated, non-volatile, time-variant, is used to support the DSS. It can assist the customer to take the efficient caculation and analysis from the numerous and complicate data in the database, so that provide the base to the data mining.The OLAP analysis(OnLine Analysis Processing) is on the basis of data warehouse established, takes advantage of multidimension modle to make the information which hiding under the numerous and complicate data concretelized, visualized. Among the mass of decision-supported technologies, the OLAP technology has talent showing itself with the supported by data warehouse technology, because of his intuitionistic data management, flexible analysis function, visualable result expressing. The OLAP technology makes the enterprises turn to decision and analysis from operation management(OLTP), and provids the way of multi-viewing, convenient exploring enterprise's data for different levels manager of the enterprise.This thesis bases on the data warehouse system's physical and logical framework, then we have established the data warehouse system which vehicle after-sale service subject oriented. And this thesis draws the detail designation and realization on the data warehouse multi-dimension data sets binding with new data warehouse modling technology. Then, we have analyzed the multi-dimension on vehicle after-sale service with OLAP.The organization structure of this thesis is:The first chapter is a prolegomenon of this thesis, introduces the main function of the vehicle after-sale service information system and the problems existed, analyzes the significience of research the system. Chapter 2 analyzes the data warehouse's data organization and related technology in the data warehouse system, finally, talks about the problems existed in the data warehouse technology.Chapter 3 analyzes the pnnciple of the OLAP and multi-dimension's conception, structure, method etc, and gives some typical operation's definition and method. Chapter 4 mainly gives us the detailed design and realization of this system. This system is composed by three hierarchies: the data warehouse hierarchy, data extraction hierarchy, data exhibition hierarchy, and has detail introduction to them. Finally, the summary and prospect of research and the conclusions of the dissertation are summarized. Furthurmore, the applied foreground of the core technique and the prospects for next research directions are presented.
