At present, the heating system is still extensive management mode in China, whichcalculated heating area.This approach not only resulted in a waste of energy, but is notconducive to energy saving and environmental protection. Meanwhile the household meteringintelligent heating system is emerging, which is based remote meter reading system.The articledescribes the wireless reading meter system based on ZigBee technology.ZigBee is a newglobal standard for wireless communication, with the characteristics of low-cost, low Powerconsumption, low data rate.It applies to industrial monitoring, building automation, wirelessmeter-reading and industrial controls.Firstly, the physical layer, MAC layer, network layer and application layer of ZigBeeprotocol stack are analysised.Basing on the studies of three basic topology of the ZigBeenetwork and Cluster-Tree routing protocol in detail, the solution of a district mulit-network isapplied.It replace the traditional a meter and a ZigBee module or a M-Bus and a GPRS moduleand improve the stability of the system and save cost.Secondly, regional concentrator, collector and electromagnetic valve control hardwarecircuit are designed.Improve and optimize traditional ZigBee wireless module hardware circuit.In order to increase the communication distance, a CC2591RF front-end is designed.Regionalconcentrator uses the MSP430F2618as the core processor to process whole region data.Meanwhile electromagnetic valve control circuit may change heat pipe valve of status byZigBee wireless network.The power supply design different schemes in different places.Taking into account low cost, low power consumption, small size, the low power chip sets andsmall size packaged external components are chosen.Furthermore, circuit schematics and PCBlayout is drawn by Altium Designer10software.Finally design software for whole system based on the analysis of Z-Stact protocol stackarchitecture, network establishment and data transmission.Moreover complete point-to-pointtransmission and analysis packet by Packet Sniffer software.The test results on show that the wireless meter reading system not only can accomplish data acquisition and transmissionaccurately but also has strong portability and compatibility.There will be broad applicationprospects in interest of things and solid foundation for the ZigBee technology’s furtherresearch.
