| Because of the requirement of social management and daily life, video surveillance inmodern life plays a very important role, and the significance and requirement of surveillanceis increasing rapidly. However, due to the diversified complicated environment and pluralismrequirement of video surveillance system, the traditional video surveillance systems can notwell adapt to the requirement in many areas and occasions today. Accompanied by thecontinued rapid development of the domestic economy and information technology,3Gnetworks and smart phones and other terminal device developed rapidly, remote videomonitoring through intelligent terminal equipment can be applied to more occasions, such aspersonal houses and stores and many other situations. The topic of this thesis is to develop awireless intelligent video surveillance system based on the Android operating system terminal,such that the user can monitor with smartphones or other terminal based on Android via awireless network.Firstly, the thesis describes the history of the development of video surveillance systems,and then comes up with the advantages of mobile video surveillance system and the feasiblescheme of this system.Secondly, the thesis introduces the development of key technology related to the mobileintelligent monitoring system, which include the communication protocol of wireless videotransmission and the framework as well as some important components of the Android system,and the main point of application development with Android as well. Then the thesisintroduces JAVA multimedia framework and its application, as well as the use of JAVAmultimedia framework to capture video images and the process to realize the communicationfunction.Finally, the thesis describes the detailed method of implementing a mobile intelligentmonitoring system, which includes the structure of system, integration of hardware andintelligent terminal software. At last the experimental results of the implemented system aregiven. |
