Research And Implementation Of Intelligent Video Surveillance System Based On Android

Since the development of computer network technology and digital image processingtechnology, video surveillance has been the hot research topic in the field of computer visionand image processing. Nowadays more and more developers turn to the Android developmentplatform, which lead to its increased share in intelligent terminal market. Meanwhile, theupdate of the smart terminal equipments’ hardware, the popularization of the3G networks, andthe commercialization of the4G LTE network has brought strong technique backgroundsupport for mobile intelligent video monitoring. Developing Android platform basedintelligent video surveillance systems will have a wide utilization in many fields and gain avery considerable market prospect.The article proposes an approach based on the JNI intelligent video surveillance system,that is to use C/C++language to develop programs on the basis of the Android Platform,which solve the problems like low operating efficiency, overtaken resources and other issuesthat are caused by Java language. In addition, you can reuse the code that was developed byC/C++language thanks to its good portability. The intelligent video surveillance and controlsystem based on the Android platform of this article after transplanted the android operationsystem, it would combine FFmpeg with OpenCV visual libraries to use the latter’s powerfulfunctions to detect and track moving targets. Additionally, it would use FFmpeg to code anddecode video. Meanwhile it would use Live555streaming media library to implementstreaming media transmission.Once the intelligent video surveillance system, detects moving objects within the range,not only can it send voice reminders and flash alarms on the client, but also, it can combinewith the GSM SMS modem, send timely alarm information to the specified receiver, whichimproves intelligence of the system.
