Design Of1553B Bus Controller Applying To The SoC Verification Platform

MIL-STD-1553B is an internationally recognized aviation bus standard, and itsapplication has been gradually extended to the tanks, ships, satellites and otherfields, so the research work carried out1553B bus for enhancing the strength andtechnological level of China’s national defense is of great significance. As one ofthe key technologies of1553B, development of1553B protocol chip takes animportant position. With the developing of SoC design technology, implemented1553B bus system intelligent management in a SoC is possible, but relatedverification problems become to be the bottlenecks. To solve the1553B bus rapidverification problem, we designed a1553B bus interface SoC verification plat form.With the BC/RT chip, you can quickly build1553B system to implement systemsimulation. The bus controller (BC) is unique on the bus to perform the data transfertask to create and launch a terminal, it plays a very important role in the1553Bsystem. In this paper, the bus controller (BC) of1553B bus, is based on the study ofthe1553B bus protocol, which is responsible for sending commands to participatein data transmission, receiving state response and monitoring of the bus system. TheSoC platform with a CPU achieve the1553B bus system control and management.In this paper, the system-level language SystemC, at a higher level of abstraction formodeling hardware, reducing the workload of code conversion, can be earlierco-verification of hardware and software. This bus controller includes three mainmodules: AHB/1553B bridge,1553B protocol processing module, Manchesterencoding and decoding modules. Finally, the simulation results show designs canmeet1553B protocol requirements.
