With the enlarging of scale and increasing of function, there are more strict requirements to DSP designing on function correctness,speed,power dissipation and reliability etc,Among these requirements,function corretcness is most important factor,At the present time,about 70% of design effort is dedicated to the function verification,while design verification takes more than hale of the whole verification works.Design verification is very inportant but most cost in the DSP design flow. Verification the consistency of the inplementation whit design specification is the main function of the design verification, In order to deal with this problem,many verification methods are presented by verification experts.To a certain extent,some methods alleviate the pressure of verification,but no breakthrough on verification is coming.So we have to integrate these methods to make the verification smoother at the present.This article designs the complex characteristic in view of DSP, proposed one kind uses the SOCKET communication protocol the DSP hardware design, places using the SystemC language establishment's reference model as well as in view of the DSP development's software simulator unifies the method which under the platform confirms, has built a tripartite confirmation platform, this platform is the DSP chip design functionality confirmation provides one practical and feasible simple method, can simultaneously guarantee the software and hardware design the accuracy and the unity.This test platform structure is reasonable, the function is complete, already confirmed China electronic technology group independent design high performance 32 floating point general signal processor BWDSP100 in the success, the practice confirmed that tests the platform movement to be stable, has provided the practical and feasible simple method for the hardware and the software designer debugging routine.
