The1553B bus has becoming the backbone of electronic system in aircraft andshipping and being widely used in the weapon system because of reliability, low-expensive and high-precision. As a real time system bus, the1553B bus mainlyapplicated in the embedded chip. The research and design of heigh reliability1553Binterface for AMBA bus have important significance because more and more SPARCmulti-core SOC chip is being widely applicated which using the AMBA bus as thesystem bus. The implementation of this issue could further expand the applicationfields of the AMBA bus.The thesis desined and implemented the high reliability interface between1553B bus and AMBA bus based on GRLIB IP. First, the thesis deeply studied theAMBA system and mainly analysis the AMBA AHB bus and APB bus. On this basis,the thesis went into the architecture, scheme and characteristics of the GRLIB IP.GRLIB IP is a free, open-source and multiplexed lib of IP soft-core which has featureof configurability, expandability, portability and compability.Next, the thesis studied the standard of1553B bus, especially on the parts ofthe work modes, transmit word formate and message formate. Then implement someparts of1553B bus soft-core associated with the interface between AMBA and1553B which includes: initialization of the IP core, remote terminals and buscontroller.Finally, the paper implemented the interface between AMBA and1553B withthe GRLIB IP lib and the designed1553B ip cores. The interface mainly include theinterface between AMBA and bus controller and the interface between AMBA andremote terminal. These two interfaces are separately implemented from two aspects:the AHB interface and the APB interface. The AHB interface is in charge of theaccess of memory of the system. The APB interface takes charge of transmition ofconfiguration and control information. At last, the paper applied ModelSim SE6.5simulation software simulated the interface based on GRLIB IP lib and valid theinterface.
